Create a Mod Preset

The Stardew Valley Mod Manager was designed with the ability to have different mods loaded for individual farm saves, including modpack support. We achieve this with Mod Presets.

Understanding Mod Presets

Mod Presets are a collection of mods that can be mass-enabled all at once. Mod Presets are incredibly useful for users that may want to have a single-player farm with very few mods and a multiplayer farm with many mods. Rather than individually go through the "Enabled Mods" list every time you want to swap between, simply load a mod preset and have the application do it for you.

Decide Your Mods

The following guide is how we recommend you go about creating a mod preset. Some of these steps may not apply.

Warning: If you name your preset after an existing preset, it will be overwritten without warning. Please only name it the name of an existing preset if you are intentionally overwriting an existing preset.

Save Preset window where the user can name their Preset.
