Deleting a Game Save

Stardew Valley Mod Manager allows you to delete your game saves without having to open Stardew Valley. This can be useful if you're having issues launching your game.

WARNING: Deleting a game using this method is permanent and cannot be undone. This method will also bypass the Recycle Bin, so recovery is not available.

Deleting a Game Save

If you are ready to delete a farm that you no longer play on, we recommend attempting to delete it from within Stardew Valley first. If you cannot launch the game however, you may use this method. This method is completely safe, even if you can launch the game - it is just not recommended.

To delete a game save:

• Open the Stardew Valley Mod Manager

• Navigate to the "Game Management" tab This may be called "Game Save Management" on older versions of the Stardew Valley Mod Manager.

• Select the farm that you wish to delete from the list. If you often name your character and farm the same names, you may find this confusing as there may be multiple saves with similar names. To find which one is the right one, you can click on the "Open Saves Folder" button and view the saves by date last modified.

• Click on the "Delete Selected" button in the Save Management toolbar.
