This page contains a lot of information. If you'd rather move on to learning about the features of the application, you can skip straight to - or simply jump through the parts of this page you're interested in using the "Contents" section on the sidebar.

Splash Screen

When you first launch the application, it will start with a small window called a "Splash Screen". This window will load all of the necessary files and information for the program to run, as well as ensuring that the necessary directories are found.

Main Dashboard

The Main Dashboard is the main window that you'll be seeing when you use the Stardew Valley Mod Manager. This window contains all of the core features - as well as access to those that are less common.

You automatically are shown the Mod Management tab - where you can complete all of your Mod Management actions including installing and enabling mods, disabling and uninstalling mods and checking for mod updates. To learn more about these features and how to use them, see the Mod Management section:

Game Management

The Game Management tab allows you to manage your game saves, displaying a list of all game saves present on your machine, with options to backup and delete your saves without having to launch the game.

To learn more about these features and how to use them, see the Game Save Management section:

Settings

The Settings tab allows you to access your Stardew Valley Directory Path (that you supplied earlier). This is also an easy and convenient way for you to access it in the future, for things like SMAPI installations.

There are currently only a few available settings:

  • Check for application updates on startup (checked by default)

  • Reset settings and application (resets to first-run setup, does not delete mods or presets)

The application (by default) will also check for updates during the Splash Screen and prompt you to download any updates if they're available.
